SITFY Launches a Youtube Channel for Archiving its Previous Editions Launching a Special Youtube Channel for Sharm El-Sheikh International Theater Festival for Youth (SITFY) for Documenting its Previous Sessions In order to benefit from the period of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which led to the postponement of the fifth edition of SITFY, SITFY -under the supervision of Egyptian professional actor and director Mazen El-Gharabawy- decided to launch Youtube and SoundCloud channels for documenting the festival's previous sessions and editions. Mazen El-Gharabawy -SITFY's president- declares: Since launching the fifth edition of SITFY, we decided to have a digital form for supporting the festival -it was decided that the fifth edition would launch multiple digital projects, such as SITFY's radio, SITFY's critic platform, and others -that would have been announced during events and press conferences; however, the Coronavirus pandemic was the main reason behind the postponement of the festival's activities. El-Gharabawy also points out: The channel is also launched for live broadcasting later on -during the festival's activities- which conveys a real positive exploitation of the period of the Coronavirus pandemic on the visual level. By June 30, SITFY will have uploaded more than 90% of the festival's previous editions' activities and events.
