Honoring Mohsen Mansour, Sameh Basiouny, and Mohammad Abdulrahman at SITFY
Sharm El-Sheikh International Theater Festival for Youth (SITFY), honors some youth figures, including: actor Mohsen Mansour, artist and director Sameh Basiouny -as the best youth theatrical figure-, and actor Mohammad Abdulrahman in Samiha Ayoub’s edition at Sharm El-Sheikh Culture Palace.
Lady of Arab Theater, Samiha Ayoub attends the closing ceremony and participates in honoring artists with SITFY’s chairman, director Mazen El-Gharabawy, and General Abd Al-Fattah -on behalf of the Governor-. The attendees of the closing ceremony include: star Elham Shahin, actor Mohammad Abdulrahman, actress Leqaa Al-Khamisy, artist Tarek Sabry, and a number of Arab, Egyptian, and foreign theatrical artists. Additionally, the closing ceremony starts with a documentary film including excerpts from the activities and performances of the sixth edition of SITFY.
SITFY’s chairman, director Mazen El-Gharabawy states: we have achieved multiple dreams and goals… We hope to achieve more in the coming editions. Moreover, SITFY’s managing director, Dr. Injy El-Bestawy expresses her gratitude to all festival’s committees. El-Bestawy asserts that everyone present in the theater is a supporter of the festival and a part of it.
Most notably, the sixth edition of SITFY bears the name of iconic actress, Samiha Ayoub, who is also the festival’s honorary president. Veteran actor, Mohammad Sobhi is the president of SITFY’s Higher Committee. SITFY is held under the sponsorship of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ines Abdeldayem and South Sinai Governor, Major-General Khaled Fouda. The sixth edition started on November 6, 2021 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
