Sharm El-Sheikh International Theater Festival for Youth (SITFY) Invents New Prospects:
World Theater Day - A Message from the Young Generation
Based on the belief of SITFY that youth have an effective role in theater -and in order to achieve the festival's main goal of encouraging the young generations to gain experience in the field of theater-, SITFY has decided to invent new prospects. The new prospects include choosing one artist from the young generation to deliver a message on World Theater Day. SITFY, under the supervision of Egyptian professional actor and director Mazen El-Gharabawy, chose this year -the Year of Inventing New Prospects- Egyptian artist and playwright Mahmoud Gamal, also known as Mahmoud Hedeni. The idea of inventing new prospects will last forever. Furthermore, in the coming years, SITFY will choose an artist from the young generation -from different countries of the world- who is influential in his country on the local and international levels. SITFY will translate messages into more than one language. Moreover, messages will be broadcasted in audio and video, in coincidence with World Theater Day each year.
