Honoring Hollywood Star Mikhail GOREVOY at SITFY as an International Artistic Figure • A special program for the Russian star's visit to the touristic city • Mikhail GOREVOY played a role in "Jisr Al-Jawasis" (Spies Bridge) movie with Tom Hanks -directed by Stephen Spielberg- and also played an influential role in (James Bond) Sharm El-Sheikh International Theater Festival for Youth (SITFY), under the supervision of professional Egyptian actor and director -Mazen El-Gharabawy- is to honor the international star Mikhail GOREVOY at the opening ceremony of the fifth edition, as an international artistic figure. Additionally, SITFY is to hold a press conference and a special program for GOREVOY's visit to Sharm El-Sheikh. Mazen El-Gharabawy -SITFY's president- declares: GOREVOY is an international Hollywood star. Recently, he has played a role in "Jisr Al-Jawasis" (Spies Bridge) movie -directed by Stephen Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks, Mark Raylans, Amy Ryan, and Alan Alda. GOREVOY is also a professor at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Moscow University. Furthermore, GOREVOY owns a private theater and a theater group (which is one of the most well-known theater groups in Russia). Mikhail GOREVOY is a Russian actor and professor at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Moscow University. GOREVOY is internationally famous for embodying the character of "Vladimir Popov" in (James Bond) movie. He also played the role of "Ivan Schischkin" in "Jisr Al-Jawasis" (Spies Bridge) movie. Moreover, GOREVOY traveled to the United States in 1992, and lived in New York City and Boston, where he worked in various fields, such as: teaching the Stanislavsky method. Later on, GOREVOY retured to Russia in 1996, established his own theater, and was honored by Russian President, Vladimir Putin. More than 35 countries are to take part in the fifth edition of SITFY: France, Spain, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Denmark, Serbia, Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, and the United States of America. Five experts in various theater arts are to present theatrical workshops (3 international theatrical experiences and 2 Arab ones). Artist Tilde Knudsen is to present the Contemporary Dance Workshop, and the international scenographer Jean Guy Lecat is to present the Scenography Workshop. Moreover, Stas Namin is to present the Musical Theater Workshop and Dr. Faisal AlQahtani is to present the Theatrical Playwriting Workshop. Finally, Dr. Alaa Kouka is to present the Actor's techniques Workshop. SITFY's fifth edition is to take place on (1 to 7 April, 2020) at Sharm El-Sheikh "the land of peace". SITFY is to dedicate the Authorship Award to late professor and writer Ahmed Sakhsoukh, who presented various theatrical and critical writings to the Egyptian and Arab theater. Most notably, the Egyptian veteran actress, Samiha Ayoub, has been appointed the honorary president of SITFY, the veteran actor, Mohamed Sobhi, head of the higher committee of SITFY, and Egyptian actor Tarek Sabri, the executive director. SITFY is managed by Dr. Ingy El-Bestawy, under the sponsorship of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ines Abdel-Dayem, Southern Sinai Governor, General Khaled Fouda, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Tourism, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board, engineer Ahmed Youssef.
